16.00 June 7th statement by KLD.

The update is great but even if they get the 'right' man, it doesn't mean they've ran a good process.

Additionally it looks like it could be Rosenoir and my word on him is that had they prized him from hull when Mowbray was sacked it would have been appealing, had they prized him away from Hull when Beale got the bullet it would have been interesting, now however it looks clear that anyone appointed is clearly the 5th choice etc, and once again we're heading for an unemployed British manager, following Neil, Mowbray and Beale. Look he may deliver, he may not even get the job, but from the array of 'sexy' names linked it is underwhelming and this is compounded by the manner in which this searched has been undertaken.

There are bold words in this statement in regards to ambition and I fear they will remain just words, in the January of Mowbrays first season a little ambition in the market could have been the difference in those playoff games, we've fallen short of our expectations this year but you could argue that any manager was outfitted with half a deck and lacked players in key positions, one position in particular, highlighting a further lack of ambition. And finally a managerial search, lasting for over 100 days, in which we threw away the season in Feb to start.

This is a massive summer and the appointment is very important. For me Rosenoir and Jensen for examples purposes do not illustrate a high level of ambition, we'll have to wait for the summer window to elapse to see the promised level of ambition to the head coach, the caveats they agreed to when they took the job and the team they've got going into the season.
That's an awful lot of words to say absolutely f*ck all worth reading. In your own words it's "clear" that you've "clearly" already made up your mind. Don't assume that you've made mine up for me too, thanks.

Oh, and I'm assuming you're English, therefore it's spelled prised.

Just don't think he's up to the task of being head or assistant coach, part of the staff fair enough but he's got to much power along with his mate Speakman.
I don't think he's a head coach, miles away from it..he's way too nice. He's done well as a 1st team coach under Mowbray and Neil.

To be fair - the statement is very, very late but it says all the right things.

Not sure how anyone could be pissed pff with the sentiment of the statement - as you’ve said it acknowledges they’ve cocked up, but claims they are ambitious, want to have success going forward etc.

What I definitely could understand though, is an attitude of “that statement is fine, but I’m believing fuck all until that translates in to action, not words”. We’ve heard lots of promises and spiel from them and far too often it’s not been reflected in actions. That’s where I am and where I think most people are likely to be.
Yeah, that’s fair.

The statement is actually an error, based upon a misheard "imminent".

KLD is actually hiring as the new head coach, and when dictating the statement, actually said "We are appointing 'im from Nantes".

You heard it here first.

All everyone has said for the last 4 weeks is they want some communication from the club.

The owner has given you a statement to say thanks and that there’s an appointment close and people still complain lol
He shouldn’t have to be prompted by us lot though!

I just think that they’ve had so much flak about the length of the delay in the media/fanzines/supporters collective meetings - that KLD wouldn’t have put this statement out unless it was basically done now - I.e. at the stage where something is firmly agreed and very, very unlikely to change/go wrong. Otherwise he’s running the risk of looking like an even bigger tit.

Gonna find out imminently if there is ambition and if they've learned from the past mistakes. Bit early for forgiveness
