108 days and it’s “as we enter the final stages”. They clearly have no idea who they want. It would have been better to say nothing than this.

For what it’s worth, I think the statement was decent.

Admits mistakes have been made, states were hungry and ambitious. Meaning we won’t be looking to be bottom half next year. -‘d want promotion.

Also says an appointment is imminent. Which to me would suggest a head coach is in place, and his back room staff contracts are the only thing holding it up. For me imminent would suggest early next week.

Good statement as far as I’m concerned. Close to an appointment and acknowledging the mistakes from last season.
Hopefully they’ve got someone decent lined up otherwise they’d just make an announcement rather than putting this out too

Ultimately doesn't say we are close, because he hopes we might have someone imminently so there is doubt within it. I'd imagine we are now in final interviews with coaches we hadn't originally aimed for, so atleast another week or two is my guess. I hope I'm wrong though as this process and the effect on this message board has been tedious
