Will Still - Lens Manager

If that's the case why haven't we moved to get him in as he's been available for a while, and especially as he's actively talking to other clubs.
Because the owners are forcing him to work with Dodds. Will Still is his own man, with his own ideas and team around him. So there's an impasse as he is resisting this idea of Dodds being there.

They had to keep Mowbray on after the Luton match or sack him and pay compensation.

Or he talks to another club who offer better money and more say on transfers and staffing......
Yeah one that he’s got no intention of going too then comes back to us a says well this is what they have offered need to beat that

How well do you know him ?
If the offer to him was of a decent standard he wouldn't need to speak or be seen at Norwich twice.
Why not !!!!! Do you accept the first offer when you’re selling something ?? Or do you drive the price up

Yeah I know that’s what I’m saying they wanted rid of him for farioli if they didn’t take him on in the first place as a makeweight we wouldn’t of ended up stuck with him and could of had the man they wanted
Bit disrespectful to say we were "stuck" with Mowbray like. We should never have sacked him.

With the right investment in the squad I genuinely believe he would have got us promoted given time.

My guess is it's all done but we're trying to work out what to do with the staff he doesn't want as part of his team or are surplus to requirements. They're humans, with jobs and careers and contracts, no doubt agents too, as well as HR. I assume they'll be offered other roles, if possible, or we've got to negotiate a settlement. Dodds and Proctor are the obvious ones mentioned but who knows, there could be others, GK coach for example.
Maybe they're being respectful to those people and trying to get them sorted before any announcements are made as presumably any leavers or restructuring would be announced at the same time.

That's still suggesting our offer to him wasn't good that he's not taken up the offer.
If an employer got in touch saying to you that you could have double the salary for a job you love, loads of time off etc. they'd love for you to join them. And then another employer called you an hour later asking for a meeting to talk about a new role. A lot of people would see what the other employer is offering just in case it's better, or out of curiosity or whatever. It doesn't mean the first offer is shit, just that some people like to see all offers

For me with stuff like this, some don't grasp the difference between how we look at is as fans and how potential Managers, Coaches and players do. Naturally we as fans have a passionate view and have a very different angle and connection to it. Those I've mentioned don't have that same emotion or connection. If as reported, he's spoke to Norwich, then taking my SAFC blinkers off, he's not really done anything wrong and just using it as a comparison to see what best suits him. I'd do similar if I was actively looking for work and similar positions came up. All I'm seeing is loads of guessing and speculation on what's happening and then people convince themselves that's true. Hopefully this is all sorted next few days so people can move on.
