Too soon for Henderson to come back?

Don't know why people think he would be a good coach, as history has repeatly shown plenty players make extremely poor coaches.
Besides didn't he say he is truly a scouser his heart belongs to Liverpool
Prime example in a long list of a premier league player showing all they care about is money and will shed any kiind of belief for 30 pieces of silver, when they alreday have 30,000,000,000 pieces stashed in the bank
 

Would be great to get in as an experienced head in the middle of the pitch and would be a fantastic coach for our new manager. But we could not afford his wages.
 
him coming back'd be hurtful to the club's burgeoning queer community imo mate. his stint in the saudi league didn't half taint his reputation as a rainbow lace wearer iirc
 
What makes people think he would come back? I doubt we can pay the money he wants and that’s his main focus. He could have come back to England after Saudi but he was still focusing on money and went to Holland to avoid paying tax.

It’s already been said on here that he (Henderson) said wages wasn’t a problem when he offered to come back before he went to Saudi.

I never once heard him say he’d come back to Sunderland before he went to Saudi. He wanted to get into the England Euro squad, it would never happen playing in the championship.

and just about all world class coaches were players at some point :lol:
 
Let’s be honest this will have nowt to do with wanting to come back to us.

He left Liverpool as he wasn’t getting games and wanted back in the England squad and should have gone to another premier league team.

He made a really bad decision going to Saudi and has been either injured or poor when turning out for Ajax.

I’m not sure there will be many clubs out there who would entertain him for a number of reasons (Saudi links, legs gone perhaps?)

Whoever our coach/manager is I wouldn’t want Henderson anywhere near the place.

Saudi links man, do you honestly think clubs would give a shit that he played in Saudi.

I've got good mates that live and work in Saudi, they're top lads, am I meant to disown them because of where their wages come from? It doesn't make them bad people, they're hardly the ones running the country as a making the atrocious decisions.

Then all these people saying his legs have gone are probably the same people saying we should have given Evans another year
