What has Speakman done to be so hated?

Absolutely spot on he hasn't yet..

He instead bought or brought in players that were clearly not fit for purpose or better than what we had already , most of which have failed spectacular fashion. He can, however, go down as the architect of another wasted season in the history of this club.

Wrong... it is all about goals, scoring them at one end and keeping clean sheets at the other...

Football is a simple game..

We will not improve until, those that think they know better, ie Dodds and Speakman are sacked and our owner changes his model, or sells to someone who is willing to spend money particularly on a few experienced strikers.

Incorrect.

How you gonna keep clean sheets if you've got strikers who can't hold the ball up or press the opposition?

You are right it's a simple game but you need everyone to pull their weight both in attack and defensively.

Last season we were missing a key component at the top end of the pitch and a defensive midfielder. It wasn't just the lack of goals that were a problem for our strikers.

Sadly in football people demand change after one bad season. It’s not a way to be successful. Doing well in the first two years buys him time. A second bad year won’t.

I agree this is the defining season for him he has a good base to add to if he gets it right this time
