Done some good stuff early on.
Academy is great , he's on top of getting players to sign new contracts.
Signed some good players early on.
The 3 teams who got promoted last year coming back down shows that probably the only way of going up and staying up is by young kids coming through and striking lucky with a few being premier quality, not by signing 27+ yr olds who definitely aren't.
However signing 4 strikers in the summer who just weren't good enough , and he should have realised this in Jan and got another in, then bringing in Beale means I wouldn't care if he went.

So you would want some manager just giving his mates that have played for him before contracts going through his phone book . managers don’t have time to travel all over the world watching players these days ? That’s what happens . Look at the state of Neil’s stoke signings and Mowbray insisting on dack, Jack Ross also we didn’t have a player worth a sell on fee

All sides have injuries. We haven’t had Stewart available for ages and he wasted three chances to replace him. You can’t ignore the severe drop off of our performances and final league position.
The mind boggling strict adherence to a crazy recruitment philosophy has seen us go backwards rapidly and without an about turn many fans are understandably concerned about a relegation fight next season.

This season hasn’t went to plan it’s had a lot of twists and turns. It doesn’t warrant been sacked and the grief given the money he’s made us on players he’s got for peanuts the last two seasons before this one , he’s had more good seasons than bad

Or after the club was more or less ruined after 4 years in league one with a squad worth absolutely fuck all, we now have a squad worth millions and can now compete financially with clubs which have been established in the championship for years.
His early work was great.
His most recent pretty poor.
There are still some good signs there, such as the academy and contracts for players.
Don't know if I trust him to make signings anymore though

The manner in which publicity is released isolates him from the fanbase, the style in which he is seen to communicate feels false.
