That's some copium fella, if there was one player to do it, it would be Stokes.

One defeat doesn't Equate to worrying timesAnother sub standard batting effort the amount of times our players find ways to gift wickets to poor bowlers that Aspinall looks like a club bowler yet has 7 of the 13 wickets to fall.
We need a miracle from here worrying times as a Durham fan.
Not contoversial at all, Bedingham and Stokes both have the ability to win the match for usControversial thought here.
Get to lunch with 1 or2 wickets down and 120 added to the score and stokes plays match winning innings of 160 off 90 balls.
Aye. It's still game on. We do have players capable of pulling it off. Will it happen? Probably not. But there again it just might.Controversial thought here.

See what tomorrow brings.
So, can anyone else remember a fairly recent defeat to a not very good side with a sub par batting performance where in the games afterwards Durham went on to dominate? I can.One defeat doesn't Equate to worrying times
I was having a lively conversation with an old bloke who is a bit of a professional moaner on the last day of the Essex game and I gently reminded him that we weren't playing (and no disrespect to them) Leics and Derbyshire this season.I think what this block of championship matches has shown is that there is a bigger gulf in quality between the two divisions that what i thought and probably a few more on here and perhaps at the club thought.
Mind due to the fixtures and the weather we have only actually played one game at home so that us a factor as well.
The loss of Borland basically after bowling a handful of overs has been a big blow as well.
Well I thought we had a good and I still think so and I'm not yet ready to concede anything given the circumstances of weather, dead pitches etc. I may change my mind though depending on the future and this game is giving pause for thought as the conditions are suitable for a positive result.I think what this block of championship matches has shown is that there is a bigger gulf in quality between the two divisions that what i thought and probably a few more on here and perhaps at the club thought.
