To be fair Campbell, unlike Franklin, does front up when things are going against us.Full expect him to offer the post mortem at the end of the game.I said as we were leaving the ground that it would be useful if Campbell gave the post match interview today

Not exactly Worcester is it? Place is populated by pikeys and charvers and that’s in the suburbs.Cricket aside, what an absolute shit hole Blackpool is
I agree, but that was our worst session of cricket since he came (along with the Saturday morning at Hove last season) and in all probability has cost us a game we were very much in before tea. I think he should have made an appearance now.To be fair Campbell, unlike Franklin, does front up when things are going against us.Full expect him to offer the post mortem at the end of the game.
Popped to the front briefly twice a good few year ago for football with Pools but this is my first tourist stay/visit in Blackpool since I was a kid so we've had a good look about and the place is horrible. So run down in parts it's derelict and neglected. It's actually quite sad because this place should be an absolute jewel of a place. We are in a b&b just off the sea front and it's alright, but some of the accomodation places round here are very run down and evidently housing asylum seekers as loads of them are down on the seafront and walking the streets. Away from the sea front area the Stanley Park area where the cricket ground is located is lovely.Haven't been but it looks like quite tacky
Any decent bars or restaurants thinking about going when Sunderland play pre season.Popped to the front briefly twice a good few year ago for football with Pools but this is my first tourist stay/visit in Blackpool since I was a kid so we've had a good look about and the place is horrible. We've just stuck with Spoons at the tower. Absolutely loads of bars. Football I'd imagine will head to The Manchester. Spoons is cheap and cheerful. Plenty chippies as well.Any decent bars or restaurants thinking about going when Sunderland play pre season.
Been totally outplayed in 4 of 5
We weren't against HampshireWe haven’t like.
Worse than Sussex last season?I agree, but that was our worst session of cricket since he came (along with the Saturday morning at Hove last season) and in all probability has cost us a game we were very much in before tea. I think he should have made an appearance now.
And don’t get me wrong, I really like Campbell and the job he has done. But that was nowhere near good enough
A lot of traditional seaside towns in the country even in the south are very run down & threadbare these days. Sunderland is one of the few that is bucking the trend.Cricket aside, what an absolute shit hole Blackpool is
Nip down to Lytham, some lovely spots. The Taps is owned by a MLF and has put bacon butties on for us before.Any decent bars or restaurants thinking about going when Sunderland play pre season.
The full breakfast is better valueOn way for day 3. Stopped at Tebay for a sausage sandwich and it’s £6.75!!!!!!!. Very nice but daylight robbery.
