Absolutely class for us. Some on here will be devastated if he stays fit and scores goals because they love to tell people the club did a great bit of business and he’s finished.Fingers crossed for him like. Great player and a lovely bloke
Was a class signing and cannot blame him for moving on, also think it was the correct decision by the club even before he's had further injury problems
Hope he helps them get through the semis, scores the winner at Wembo then joins us on loan for next seasonHaway Rosco
I think he will ya know, he didn’t do bad by us reallyHe was a breath of fresh air wasn't he.
I bet he was as sad as anyone when he moved on but at the end of the day you gotta do what's best for your family etc.
I wish him every success and hope he gets a cracking reception if he visits with an oppo side in the future![]()

and at times he was our best defenderI miss him me.
A pest for defenders, chasing everything down, backing in, constantly running into channels. Oh, and he could finish too.
Haway the Loch Ness Drogba
Agree with all this.I love him me - never forget him banging the second in against Wycombe right in front of me. Had awful luck with some horrible injuries... Just think of what could have been.
Genuinely think he will score goals in any division/team, just has the instinct.
I think they’d give him a crack at it me, IF he can get fit and firing he definitely has what it takes to play in the prem injuries and fitness allowing. Lovely thought though mindI wonder if he'd be available on loan if they went up.
I'd pay half his wages if he agreed to come back.I wonder if he'd be available on loan if they went up.
Agree with all this.
I wonder if Southampton go up if theyd want to send RS out on loan.
Sounds daft considering the money they spunked on him but then hes hardly kicked a ball in the last 2 years, would be difficult for him to get back up to speed in the Prem.
Would be ironic if we loaned him for half a season and paid his wages!
it was a great bit of business for SAFC whatever happens next....they sold him at exactly the peak of his value with now downside for SAFC because he wasnt available to play this season...Absolutely class for us. Some on here will be devastated if he stays fit and scores goals because they love to tell people the club did a great bit of business and he’s finished.
Wouldn't want him back. No loyaltyI wonder if Southampton go up if theyd want to send RS out on loan.
