The Spirit Of 37 - Upcoming displays

Aye

Cheers.

I was hoping the white one facing the roof was an anti club message but it just says rest in peace. I was a few rows in front of it but didnt have a clue what it said. Asked someone nearby and he shrugged and said it must be for the seagulls

I sit at the back of the South Stand.
Today I watched as fans made their way to their seats and literally flung the flags to the ground before the game.
I packed in putting the flags out when the lads decided to wrap it all in.
Seeing this is so dissapointing knowing the work and the time the volunteers give.

I bumped into a few lads who are south standers after we tried with a banner against Beale and thier reaction was basically "I'm not holding no banner up"

Same thing happened when we tried to set the Bradley lowery one off.

Some bloke who was on the end of the row where it was started said he could be arsed. I explained what it was etc, said “nah fuck that mate”.

Just a thought here but best display by a mile was in the east stand where people went to school and can add 2+2 together.

Might be worth putting displays on there instead?

Sometimes they drop their Werthers originals bag tho.
And let’s not start on the tartan blankets getting in the way 😏

Fair play to any fan taking the time with banners etc but the one on sat was pretty poor. We had a good thing with the SO37 stuff, the sheff wed playoff was class, but the shit they received was a disgrace and now we end up with a match day as shit off the pitch as on it.
Spot on

I saw the people setting up the trial run of flags etc at Safc lasses v Charlton. I thought ''bless them but they will get stick and no help" Women in their 60's or older.

The ownership clearly don’t want that fan culture at the club anymore. Although they’re happy to use it for marketing

I don't think the fans want it either tbh.

When you've got fans in the home end turning up their nose up at holding something or joining in you've got no chance. Everyone in that end should be on board and should understand the culture or move somewhere else in the stadium. Being shit is no excuse otherwise this sort of thing would be exclusive to the elite clubs who aren't shit.

Most clubs that have got this sort of thing off the ground have groups of 20-30 lads that live and breathe the culture.
