Seemingly the club have gone their own way and are employing their own crew for the livestream.

Sad not to have Marty on there, would he very interested to hear (unlikely I ever will) just how it is financed.
Aren't the ECB putting money into live stream across all counties? That might only be for the technical stuff though, camera angles, replays, etc.
 
i'd imagine someone like Marty would know, dont have the comms on to hear if he has mentioned it though
Got nothing against the young lads who are on the stream comms, they are doing a decent job. I would prefer if they spoke more about the game rather than conduct continuous interviews with the various guests.

can you get the BBC feed through an alexa or just from a web browser
I'm running it off the BBC sport app; it's about 10 seconds ahead of the Youtube, so I've had to fiddle a bit to align it. Isn't a proper cricket season without Marty.

seems so odd to have marty and the Essex comms there from the BBC and us have 2 extra lads doing it
