CC : Warwickshire v Durham

Think Rob Key would argue it's gone quite well compared to what normally happens in April.

He would, but I’ve never been particularly fond of any of his ideas.

Would be lovely if Leesy can get a double ton for his birthday.

I don't think we've done too badly. We could have easily crumbled having to face almost 700 but we've got stuck in.

Forecast on Monday will be well known to both teams & taking in the hopeful rain on Monday, I think Durham will be more satisfied knowing that Warwickshire may need 17 wickets tomorrow.

We'll see how it goes
We will, which is the beauty of 1st class cricket.

At least there are two positives. 1: 178/3 is better than 178/5. And 2, there is at least the prospect of a ton for one of our players. There's a third, of course, and that is if there was any complacency in the team, raised by all the boosterist write-ups in the press on Durham's prospects it should now be gone. They have to play hard because they'll be given nowt!

Just tuned in and 100 up for Lees. First of quite a few this season hopefully.
Robinson dropped at leg slip mind would have been a helluva catch.

I bloody love Alex Lees.

Think he was unfortunate to get dropped by England. Got some unlucky dismissals. I’m sure Root ran him out against India when he was looking good for a century.

Aye indeed but the gut feel they had about Crawley/Duckett partnership has certainly paid off.

Shame the middle order has fallen to pieces!

Great for us though.

That great Glamorgan side led by Robert Croft was made up of players who were unlucky not to get more caps. Wouldn't mind the same TBH.

Warwickshire have potentially shafted themselves here. Assuming not to much playing time lost, their bowlers will be shattered if/when they put us back in

Should have declared with 500 and given their bowlers a rest
