Was surprised to see Steel in the side, his maiden fifer.
Why did he leave us, can't remember the reasons.
He got hit flush on the helmet when on a pre-season tour which badly affected his confidence. He asked to be released during the following season,on the circuit having trials,Alex Stewart saw something and gave him a contract.
It's soaking in Manchester, would expect the wicket to be very soft, probably gripping like nobody's business

Lords? Doesn't have to turn, they dont need 6 seam options, always play a spinner.

Why play a spinner if it doesn’t spin? Then all you’ve got is a bloke who is slower than all your other blokes but otherwise doing the same thing. And possibly not even doing the same thing as he will never seam it. And slower is always easier to play if it’s doing nothing. it’s only if it’s doing something that it becomes potentially trickier.
