County Cricket 2024

Despite early April conditions and weather about looks like in all 3 games that have started the batting side at least initially taking the positive approach and scoring rate really good.

Good to see imo

First century of 2024 goes to Sam Northeast

Won't be the only one to hit 3 figures this round of fixtures judging by the scores around the country so far

Likely be a double in a day at this rate!!!

Ali for Worcs nearly at his ton.

Dane Paterson with the first fifer of the season as well for Notts.

Didn't realise the young Kent Keeper/bat Jordan Cox had left to go to Essex. They must be gutted after having him and Ollie Robinson and accepting one had to leave for the good of his career then the other one leaves 12 months later for another county.

Slightly different but reminds me of when Somerset had both Kieswetter and Buttler both brilliant white ball batsman, Kieswetter first choice keeper so Buttler left, iirc not that long after Kieswetter had career ending injury

And both were behind Sam Billings, who promptly retired from first class cricket to chase the franchise dollar. He'll be playing the Scottish T10 FFS.
