Hemir

On reflection, last season Gelhardt certainly gave maximum effort, whereas I agree Hemir for a big unit just looks like at the very least could offer more battle, just seems languid, saying that though particularly with young players confidence and feeling supported and guided are huge elements so perhaps there is a lot more to come with the correct tutelage

They should just send him back home. It’s the kindest thing for everyone. A life size picture of him should be pinned to Speakman’s office door with the words strikers cost money in large font.
Either that or “You're not as clever as you think you are.”

About his lack of mobility. He moves like a 36 year veteran. Except 36 year old veterans have usually honed a great touch, anticipate things well, use their body to back in

Mowbray knew he was bone idle regards his training and his warm ups are comical ( in a way). He is useless but the fantastic scouts we have must have thought different as he received a 5 year deal. Stealing a living .

That moment where he should have been running at goal against QPR when he tackled their CB, but then proceeded just to slowly jog and let Colback get back still angers me.

We gave him a 5 year deal because he’s young and has a decent physique imo. That’s all.

Wow!

He’s had plenty chances and shown fuckall, he’s also lazy, very lazy.

He waltzes through games, not even giving the bare minimum, if he was at least busting a gut, then fair enough, but the fact at his age he’s not even bothering to give his all, says everything.

He’s an absolute dud, people need to just accept it sometimes. We had this with djaku and unfortunately seems to happen with a lot of Speakmans overseas “gems”.
He’s a kid man ffs it’s his first season kids need time to learn and develope

If he was a kid they’d plucked out of the crowd with absolutely no professional coaching or background in football at all you could just about understand his contribution on the pitch.

To think he’s been schooled at the academy of a top club in Portugal, given access to first rate training facilities at Sunderland and then you see what he produces is just indefensible.

Nothing against the kid personally but he’s looks miles away from the minimum standard required of a professional footballer.

Dont agree with that he’s got good movement he gets into good potions to get chances that’s nothing that’s not so easy to teach, he can get to grips with the pace of the game and graft in time he’s barely played man it’s mental

I can definitely see some potential with him. He has a decent touch as well

The only thing going for him is his physique , I have seen nothing in him to suggest there is a half decent footballer in the making. Could try loaning him out down the leagues for next season.

Ive had this conversation before with you, ive seen the lad play at U 21 level plenty of times this season and his lack of general movement, positioning, team play and especially motivation is shocking. If he was a local lad he would be gone...

He’s 6’4 with really good feet.
But he’s way too casual now.
Although the standard is higher now he was pretty decent in pre season. He was actually battling against Mallorca defenders.
I feel like he doesn’t have a clue what he’s supposed to be doing.
He started being told he had to drop deep. Now he’s constantly being screamed at to get forward.
His confidence is shot, but he’s still to casual.

I get that, but if he looks poor at youth level, what chance has he got making it at 1st team level?
He’s prob in shock man he may not be enjoying it he’s played for two absolutely hopeless managers he maybe homesick so many things could be going on
