Don't renew

At 70yr old there’s not a lot of alternatives for me. I fully understand your point of view. That , today was completely unacceptable. I think posters who have pointed out that the club have sacked off the season with a dozen or so matches to go , have a genuine complaint. Fans are paying full price for their seats and the management and players have basically chucked the towel in.

I don’t think the players have chucked in the towel, although at times today it looked like it. Dodds is simply the wrong person to be leading them. He should never be in charge for anymore than 2 games.
Today’s result may not effect there so called 5 year plan, but losing 1-5 at home to a team who hadn’t won for 11 games under a new manager will cause harm to the fan base. They are sickening their own supporters with one bad decision after another. I have a feeling it is not going to get better anytime soon.

All these people not renewing is great for those who were on the Hull and Rotherham ticket threads moaning about not being able to get one.

Silver lining and all that eh....

It was a nothing game man and has no more significance to next season than the win at Cardiff. We will be better than Blackburn next season in my opinion.

At least they would be proper supporters that stick by their club through thin and thinner. If you think the fans are or ever could be the problem, you’re wrong.
Mugs who enjoy being treat like mugs as owners like these love them as they know that no matter what they will continue to put money into the club regardless, that’s entirely up to them but not for me sorry , when/if they do ever get a owner in with a bit of ambition they that may change,up until then that will not change and thousands others by the looks of it are exactly the same

Would never criticise anyone for wanting or feeling like they need to renew but a massive drop in ticket sales is probably the only effective form of protest that would actually force Dreyfus to change his approach on how he's running the club.
It wouldn’t. How did averaging 27k in 17/18 help change any thing? Why would he care? He’d more likely just stop putting any money in at all and offload it ASAP to any dickhead regardless of intentions.

We made a £5m loss in the last accounts. So these “mugs” aren’t making anyone any money

Oh that’s ok then that result today was acceptable …🤦

Thanks for the advice.

I would pay to watch Sunderland if they were in the Wearside league. I am happy with the cost and consider it decent value for 23 days out with an extended group of friends. Hope this helps.

I do get what you’re saying but I don’t see much pleasure in what you watched today. I could take poor days like this if I thought the bigger picture was better but I honestly don’t think it is. Dodds is well out of his depth but sadly he is their man. He is simply not as good a coach as they think he is.

My take is it a big sky out there, and not my place to tell anyone what to do. We are all free to make our choice. I fully accept that people wish to vent their spleen after today as we are human. I would never question anyone for renewing, or giving up. Free will brother👍
Fine. Don’t renew, don’t go, my reaction was to this post telling other people not to as they are apparently taking the piss out of us. So why not reply to him as he’s the one telling people what to do? I’m merely telling him to f***ing do one.

When did I say it was making them money ? I said those mugs were still putting money into the club…stop talking shit again

We have a very young group of players who will get better. I reckon for e.g. we have better players than say Blackburn. How many natural defenders were in our starting back four today?

How many would have been playing there if we had a fully fit squad?

I wrote the season off as a dud about a month ago and the games are just days out now. Still doing Leeds, WBA and Watford mind and enjoyed Cardiff immensley. I suspect those who moaned about the tickets at Hull and Rotherham will not be doing any of those games mind as given our form they are all likely to go down to season ticket holders. When they said they wanted to go to away games but can't get tickets, they didn't mean THOSE away games did they?

What’s wrong with putting money in the club, isn’t that objectively a good thing to support the club and put money in the club
