I do think that the need to get renewal packs out probably forced an early announcement in the stadium investment (where I think they would have liked to have given more detail).

The issue with doing it in one day is on superficial inspection, it could be considered as cynical.

Yeah just thinking all the deadlines would have been pushed on by a week. There's no real rush and need to be done by May 3rd etc
And as mentioned just looks a bit cynical announcing all that stuff yesterday and then dropping the renewals in a few hours later.

Not at all. If they were serious work would be done. It's not like the sol is in use most of the month. There may he one section not deteriorating but the rest most certainly Is and that's a FACT

You could see clearly from the video I saw, that the steelwork above on the roof is suffering from corrosion and needs some attention soon.

Lol...methven wouldnt have made much from "selling" his SAFC shares.
he owned 6 per cent...the club's most recent valuation was £30mn..6 per cent of £30mn is £1.8mn..minus the tax and huge ciorpate fees it wasnt worth the effort financially..though the increased profile..which is the only reason to own a club in the championship probably means methven is the only one of the Madrox three who came out of the safc debacle with a decent return..
The parachute payments were owned by SBC corporation..nothing to do with Metheven or donald..the club at least had its debt reduced...albeit short lied when he said he left it debt free..

The safc owners dont ave SAFC as the bnumber on thing in their lives like...neither work for the club..in sarotris case SAFC isnt even his main club..never mind his main job..but yeah its likely they announved some good news following a peirod of bad on pitch performance..doesnt stop the whining on here though..which is why an owner should never try to appease the fans...fans just whine whatever happens

This is what I’m hoping they prioritise. I couldn’t give a shiny shite about 5g but I would like running water and hand dryers in the toilets. I’d also like nonslip paint on the stairs and the bird shite to be cleaned where I sit as it’s covered.

The 5g is for 2025 and SAFC aren't paying for it it's via a grant

I’m not disputing the ground needs work, and plenty other things need to be addressed, but the stuff in question has been.

Good news mate. It needs it as when you come into the sol from Southwick was towards ticket office, you see the sol and East Stand is the first thing you see.. it was dirty and minging on the outside.
