Forthcoming gigs.

How f***ing brilliant were Yard Act?! Third time seeing them, and they just keep getting better and better. Ace, top, mint and boss!
They were very good. A mix of the old stuff and the new stuff which kept the crowd happy. I thought the reactions to the old stuff was better than to the new stuff. Dead horse was a highlight but I enjoyed petroleum and dream job too. All in all a great night and the ending was brilliant with them all dancing to trench coat museum

They're a great live band aye. I prefer their earlier stuff to be honest so probably not my favourite gig of theirs ive been to but i was also out till 5am yesterday and with the metros off we were driving so that probably played a bigger part!

Mary Wallopers were excellent last night like. Excellent crowd as well, the place was bouncing.

However, missed the vast majority of Brògreal which is pissed off about.
They posted on Facebook 8pm on their page. Got in at 7:45pm, they were already playing. Some kid said they’d be on about 15mins. Finished that song, played an instrumental then that was it

Like the time I went to see Fontaines DC support Shame. Went in early on purpose & the slot was swapped with Sorry & they’d already played.

Great night, as you say both the band and crowd were up for it.
I’d gone straight through after the match so managed a few pints in Tilleys beforehand watching the mags lose.
Brogreal came on around 7:30 but only did about half an hour. I thought the first couple of songs were a bit meh but they won everybody over by the end.
I had a pint in the Geordie Star afterwards to kill a bit of time till the last train. Speaking to a Geordie lass with a big Guinness hat on. She said it was f***ing brilliant even though she wasn’t Irish or even catholic. 🤣

Thought it was strange he wasn't wearing one then ending with that he could have least have chucked one in for the song!

So, I’ve got a problem with me memory when I’ve had a drink. I remember vividly being pissed off they cut the last bit of Dirty Old Town off at the end when I was in full swing, but forgot 30 seconds later

Got talking to the young curly haired kid from Brògeal & said I was gutted I missed their set. Might have pointed out their socials said 8pm start too. Anyhow, he said to message them on Instagram & they’d sort out a Sunderland date  So just have, so it’s obviously happening. You don’t get a gig request from a random stranger & ignore it do you?!

Mad thing was, I wouldn’t have remembered that at all if owa lass hadn’t just said. As soon as she did it was all clear as day :lol:

It doesn't seem that the lad from Brogeal listened to you.
