Forthcoming gigs.

I'm there narl. Know very little about them and have barely listened to the album. An early finish would be canny just for getting home at a decent hour.
The new album is very different from the first which I think is always a good thing. It is a lot more of a dance album with a few of the more spoken word stuff. It’s great but I prefer the first. They are great live.

Mary Wallopers were excellent last night like. Excellent crowd as well, the place was bouncing.

However, missed the vast majority of Brògreal which is pissed off about.
They posted on Facebook 8pm on their page. Got in at 7:45pm, they were already playing. Some kid said they’d be on about 15mins. Finished that song, played an instrumental then that was it

Like the time I went to see Fontaines DC support Shame. Went in early on purpose & the slot was swapped with Sorry & they’d already played.

Just noticed Brogeal are one of the bands supporting The Wolfetones at Finsbury Park in July. Might get me'sel along.

Gigs for me, just SLF on Friday then Rebelfest in Manchester in May. Was supposed to go to From the Jam in May at the Boilershop but sold out, left it too late
From the Jam are on the Fire Station in October.

Just done Judas Priest/Saxon/Uriah Heep at the First Direct Arena in Leeds - if Metal/classic Heavy Rock is your thing then this was an outstanding night and probably the best 3-band package you`ll see all year. Rob Halford at 73 still sounds incredible.

Great seeing @mini-x2 and @Sneech down the front enjoying themselves so much too.

Superb wasn't it. They were absolutely brilliant and the crowd was great. Well, apart from some actual wallopers having fight next to us at the end and spilling me pint.

Where was that? I was 4/5 from the front at the far left of the stage (facing it). A lass was hoyed out for basically treating it like a pro-Palestine rally. Not even sure if she was interested in the band to be honest.

Right at the back. They were in the 40s/50s as well. Wallys.
We were probably up on the little balcony front left.
Had a great view and the gig was class. Only downside was a pissed up woman in late 40's who was like one of those inflatable arm waving things dealer's have. Whooping away, she didn't have a clue about any of the songs. Her fella just recorded every song on his phone, never actually looked at the stage. Eventually she just got grief off the people she kept banging in to and he took her out. Wallopers were brilliant though. Missed most of the support as they were oncanny early.

Aye really enjoyed that last night. Spoke to a few people in there and up at Tilleys afterwards who'd come over from Ireland for it. The crowd in there were the most good natured I've been part of for a long time. Everyone there just to have a good night.

Our lass sorted it so I don't know who or how many support bands were on? We caught the band before Mary Wallopers and they were good like.

Hope you enjoyed it mate, wouldn't have minded that one myself.

Mind, I missed both this post and any sign of bother when I posted earlier. 😂

There was one lass who was a pain in the arse pushing though saying "My husband is over here!" spilling drinks all over before turning her back on the band to take pictures of her mates. Maybe I was just pissed enough to be happy with myself by that point though.

It was a shame as it had been really good natured and a bit of crack with the people around us. Our lass had just got me a pint when two of them scrapping came lurching towards me and spilt me full pint all over me top.
It was during one of the last songs so just said we'll bugger off then and get a taxi before any rush.

Missing Mary Wallopers this week as I'm pre-booked tor The Stairs on Friday and working late for their extra London gig the night before. They are brilliant live.

How f***ing brilliant were Yard Act?! Third time seeing them, and they just keep getting better and better. Ace, top, mint and boss!
They're a great live band aye. I prefer their earlier stuff to be honest so probably not my favourite gig of theirs ive been to but i was also out till 5am yesterday and with the metros off we were driving so that probably played a bigger part!
