Forthcoming gigs.

Maybe bands should have a van outside the venue selling their merch to avoid these fees??
Some bands have set up their merch in a nearby pub as a protest rather than give the venue their demanded cut (generally c.20% of gross price). This practice will only cease if bands stop playing the likes of Academy Music Group venues.

White lies to open the stone throws Festival at North shields exchange on Friday 24th May.

Already have tickets for the Saturday so may as well go to the Friday too

Absolutely madness price of gigs these days, I’ve been persuaded by the wife to take her to a couple in the next year, just paid £250 for some Saturday night Killers tickets down Manchester, but the one that really sticks in my throat…£600 for two tickets to see Usher in London next year, cheapest available!!! 😳 Some tickets were £1400 each!!!

I’ve absolutely no idea what any of his songs are like!

Just got tickets for Biffy playing their 1st album in full at the Glasgow Barrowland in October. Amazed I got them, everyone else I know that was trying didn't get any.

They sound like prices from secondary ticket agents such as Viagogo.

Never seen those prices unless the venue insist on a cut which shouldn't be allowed
Fontaines DC in Stockton about a year ago, think T-shirts were about £30. Seemed extortionate. Got outside after & bought the same t-shirt for £10. Could have been bootleg, but I’m more of the thinking it was a protest sale.

Just had a look at Usher out of curiosity, looks like the lowest price was £76 but they’ve all gone. Loads of standing tickets being resold between £300-£400 quid. Few seats up in the gods being sold for between £130-£190 and are being described as “platinum” which I’m guessing is another word for their dynamic pricing as reading into it it states they’ve been priced at their market value by the organiser and can change.

Good old Ticketbastard. I was thinking more of The Killers tickets in Manchester as they have been on sale for a good while.
