We're building a good young squad. Be in a great place in a year or 2. Need players to sell before we start dishing out big contracts/fees. It's a great approach.

Does the great young squad look so great if you take Clarke out and put Mundle in because you can bet your bollocks that is the club’s plan if we fail to get promoted.
In a ‘year or two’ there is zero chance of Clarke, Neil, Ballard and Patterson for starters being here if we are still in and around the playoff mix.
Not one sane poster on here will tell you that the squad is better now than the squad at the end of January last year.
Sunderland owned strikers have scored ONE goal in the last year. Sunderland strikers (and I include Gelhardht in the loosest sense of the word) have scored FOUR goals in the last year.

When we sell our only decent couple of players, were fucked imo. Id sooner have a few more so theyre less of a loss.
