Nah, aslong as we haven't filled all our registration spots, he can join at any point, and take a spot. If they were full, we wouldn't be able to unregister someone mid-season and so we wouldn't be able to register him.

Despite having 30 odd players we're no where near filling the spots due to the amount of young players we have. IIrc, we had to register a few players that didn't need to be registered due to their age, just so we reached the minimum threshold.

I can't see him coming either way, like.

That’s not my understanding. The transfer window is for transfers. You can sign free agents at any time.

That’s not to say we aren’t waiting to see who else we can get in during the transfer window and taking it from there.

I think talk of M’Vila is just a fruition of the rumour mill, though. We’ve needed someone of his ilk all season and if we were seriously interested in him he’d be here by now.
