The atmosphere at home these days

The atmosphere in English grounds in general is abysmal nowadays.

As for the fans turning. I wasn’t there (watched it on Sky) but I suspect the vast majority of it was aimed at the fraud in the dugout and the gimps who appointed him.
It was, but as I’ve said, even wait until full time. It helps absolutely nobody not least the players.

I’m at the back of the south stand, usually get involved in the singing.

Last night I could barely motivate myself to go, let alone singing etc. They have sucked any enthusiasm out of me, and a lot of people around me.

The fans are the very, very least of the problems.
It’s a big problem at home for me. The atmosphere, especially when going a goal down.
Move the away fans back into the lower bowl, reinstate the SW corner.
100% this.

My apologies I didn't read it all.😂
I’m not attempting to say any of what’s going on is the fans fault. But it’s horrendous at home. Going 1 down especially whether we’re happy with the manager or owners or any of it. It’s been absolutely shite for years. We used to have a unanimous roar of encouragement when going a goal down and even that doesn’t happen anymore.

footballs been the same for years,

Also why should fans wait till the end?

Fans tried to sort the atmosphere out the s037 lads tried to do stuff and the club pulled them down.

We have much much bigger issues than the fans which are the same as everywhere up and down the country bog standard and average. With the odd few atmospheres chucked in

Get a manger who they can get behind
Show some passion
Sign players reedy to go (pardon that one)

You will notice a difference, moral has been hit until that changes you will have issues.

Stop the rot at the root cause and it will flourish.

Yes you are right the atmosphere is awful

I know, Lets get a group of fans together to work their arses off making displays for the stands, that the club can use on social media, and call it the spirit of 37.

Oh its been done you say? what happened to that then?

100% this.

It wasn’t great last night, but there was some singing in the South Stand. That stopped after about 20/25 minutes, I’m guessing they’d all had the life drained out of them too by the shite being served up on the pitch.

I get your point, and agree to an extent, but sometimes the crowd feeds off the players on the pitch, it works both ways. And unfortunately, the slow, boring, negative shite on field isn’t exactly something to get the crowd excited.

Let’s also remember the way the club have treat the lads from SO37

I understand that mate but I think people have just had enough now to be honest and are trying to send a message to those in power.

A club of this size should not be limping along to a mid-table finish in the second tier.

I could hear the frustration with Bellingham on the tele. He was poor again yesterday but I suspect he is (rightly or wrongly) being singled out because he is a symbol of Speakman’s involvement at the football club.

No one can be arsed. The owners, speakman and now Beale have sucked the life out of it

Last night it was obvious Bellingham and Ekwah needed hooking. We needed to go two up front and run the ball through midfield as their entire squad, management and the entire away end had been booked.

Beale failed to recognise this basic fact. He needs pedalling before he lays eggs

Mid 2nd half there was a Bellingham chant went up to try and support him. He’s being hung out to dry

Yet we have picked up a lot more points at home this season and been poorer away from home where the support is always the best in the business.
