No. Not remotely, questions can and should be asked, but they should be appropriate and fair. That question is neither.

What suspicions? Some bitter, negative weasels from twitter who are negative about anything and everything? Who want a say on every flag led display but don't want to contribute with their time and or money?

It's always the same man, nobodies who add nothing to anything yet expect respect and want input, then when something happens they disagree with they go on like bairns and constantly criticise.

I agree with that, I’ve got nowt against Donald or any of the rest of SOT37 and do I think any of them have done owt dodgy? No not at all.

I am a cynical person when it comes to stuff like this as I have very real experience with not-for-profit organisations where there’s been people skimming money (not on this level, granted) and it’s the absolute worst feeling in the world and absolutely vile. This is why I even said it, albeit probably worded wrong and a bit aggressively. I don’t think this is the case with SOT37 though, only thing I think they have done wrong was keep changing the target amount which has roused certain people’s suspicions, especially when they’ve already accused them in the past.

Would be a massive shame if they did knock it on the head and you just know all the “bitter, negative, weasels” would be out in force.

I just want to put it on record that I have actually stuck up for them on Twitter with the aforementioned “bitter, negative, weasels” as well.

It’s honestly hard to constantly answer the same question without coming down as condescending.

The more things you buy, the more they cost. We increased the cost to try and increase spending power. We didn’t communicate well enough clearly, but I didn’t think it would’ve needed explaining.

Yous said multiple times that there were varying cost options (and subsequently display options) up to 45k.

Fundraisers do it all the time for similar reasons.

I get it. I could have worded it better in hindsight, I actually work with materials myself (completely different materials altogether) but I know how much they’ve increased in the last few years. 15 grand gets you now what 8 would have 5 years ago.

For the Mags game I honestly think red squash balls and the glove idea can both be done along with people taking their own banners/flags. Cause maximum disruption.

Stewards can do sod all, most of them (especially the new lot) are useless. They have no actual power. The plod I'd imagine will have their hands full as it is. Need a few thousand of us at least and be ready to defend others if they try to take flags banners off people
