Spirit of 37 - display v Newcastle

We’ve been asking for adequate storage for over a year. We’ve been told it’s getting sorted every time.

Nothing has changed. Nothing ever will change, until the personnel are changed at the top.
These all seem like small asks, easy fixes and unforced errors. Across a lot of the off the field stuff it’s the same. As someone who has tried to work with the club, do you have an opinion as to why?

It is very disappointing to hear that the club are showing you and your fellow team members zero respect.

I suppose this is what you get when you have no actual Sunderland supporters in positions of authority at the club. And how we’ve ended up with a mag making decisions about how we show our support for the club and our opposition to sports-washing is outrageous.

The current owners have gone down in my estimation over the past 36 hours.

A few reasons.

No one at the club is capable of making a decision. Our tifo is an example. Chris Waters passed to Steve Davison, he said yes but needed to ask KLD. Then David Bruce and Oscar Chamberlain got involved. What’s the point of a COO if they can’t approve things?

The club is ran by a committee so everything takes forever to get done.

Its obvious they have no interest in our passion and would much prefer a crowd of drum beaters and gazoo blowers . We're an inconvenience to them and see us as out of date and step with their sanitised club.
Sounds like an invitation to really act out to me. 😄
