Spirit of 37 - display v Newcastle

Or time to show some hypocrisy on a massive scale and that we are only really bothered about human rights and sportswashing because its the mags. Any other team and we'd be fine with it. That's the truth as well.
Or....because it's closer to home it's made people more aware of it and, upon looking into it further, they've realised just how abhorrent your supreme leaders really are.

Christ almighty mate give it a rest. So37 will be doing what their doing. If your so against it then make a stand and don't turn up and certainly don't take part in the display if you do turn up.

You've voiced your opinion, many disagree. Move on

Why would we do a display when the mags played man City?

We've played Man City plenty of times since they were taken over and not one grumbling about human rights or sportswashing from any of us back then. We even celebrated them winning the league at the SoL and done a Poznan

Maybe that's because they aren't our rivals so we weren't really bothered.

It's 100% the time to have a go at Newcastle's ownership.

State ownership is killing the game, plus it's our duty to remind them lot that they don't get to feel all warm and fuzzy about their current "success". Not only is the right thing to do, it being beamed around then world will be massively embarrassing for those fuckers.

Keep it matter-of-fact imo. Something that speaks to their fans, players and management.

'You sold your soul to tories, despots, and charlatans''

What hypocrisy?
I mean, if a mag is talking hypocrisy....let's not start on the fact that they were morally outraged at their previous owner and his business practices (0 hour contracts) and campaigned to remove him based on that, but their current owner is a murderous despot that executes journalists, gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and bombs the fuck out of Yemen killing bairns, commits war crimes etc. and they don't bad an eye.

Morally bankrupt *****, they are

Your uncle worked in Saudi and you are a mag. This is why you defend them

What hypocrisy?

The hypocrisy that we couldn't really care less about sportwashing or human rights and are only bothering because its them lot who've benefitted from it.

If it was something genuinely close to our hearts we would have done the same when we played Man City and certainly wouldn't have done the Poznan to celebrate them winning their first league title under their new Middle East Ownership.

People are pissed that they've effectively won the lottery. They would be in the same league as we are now if not for their new owners let's not forget, but all this does is shoes how much it bothers us and they'll lap it up.

Could have done it v Man City last time we played them if people felt so strongly about it, but we didn't for some reason.

The Man City ownership wasn't relevant to us as Man City holds no relevant importance to most of us, so most people didn't look into it/educate themselves on it.

It wasn't effecting our local community, sportswashing propagandists weren't our neighbours, Man City aren't our local rivals and so it wasn't mentioned by them to us at every opportunity.

You mean the poznan that was a blatant pisstake of Man United rather than showing affinity to City?
You utter f***ing gonk

This.
The mag twat can't respond to this

You are right about the first part. He made a very good life for himself and his family by working out there and made enough that he was able to retire early. Nobody ever judged anyone for going out there to work and why would they? In fact nobody on here was really arsed about Saudi full stop until a couple of years ago for some reason.

So it's jealousy then that it's them up the road, just as I said. Why show them how bothered we are? They'll just laugh at us when instead we could do something Pro Sunderland on a scale we've never done before with all the money we are raising as a fanbase and the £10k KLD has chipped in.
The veil slipped ages ago man you mag bastard, you're not fooling anyone

All you're doing is showing how jealous you are of them. Going to make us look pathetic. Our biggest game at home in years and we are concentrating on the opposition instead

If it's purely jealousy, and not for the reasons of educating ourselves on their ownership because it's more relevant to us, then surely we would have done it against Man City you absolute whopper. You've just defeated your own argument.
