Drawn at home to Mags in FA Cup

As someone mentioned, they dont need to beat us to have the bragging rights. They are at the top end of the PL table, playing in the Champions league and bankrolled by a state. They already have the bragging rights.

What does them hammering us prove at this point?

If it was the old Newcastle with fat mike and hovering around mid table I'd agree. You've got players in your squad you've paid more for than pretty much our whole team man. We might be only a league between us but in reality we're not even playing the same game anymore. Sand/blood money has changed the very essence of your club, we've largely been on similar playing grounds money wise apart from the odd blip not anymore.

Pressure is all on yous massive monkey of six in a row, champions league club coming to a club just out of four years in the third tier, if this wasn't a derby game nobody in their right mind would be picking the home team to get a result. Team of kids against a team full of experience.

There’s pressure on us to win, as there is if we play other teams below us. Throw in a derby and there’s pressure to again win against a lower league club. I’ve full faith in the manager and players to adopt to that.
Like I’ve said, likewise there’s huge pressure on SAFC, they know they have to be at their very best to compete on pitch and to not wilt in front of their fans.
If they don’t do that and are comfortably beat, there’ll be hell on from the locals.

That the team with the most money, and able to buy the best players can win a game.

Hardly worth shouting about.

They’ve beat Sheff Utd 0-8 this season, that’s my only concern that it’s a defeat of that magnitude. That’s why I don’t consider it a free hit.
We’d beat Sheff Utd this season I reckon. They were lucky as fuck to win here last year and they had Doyle and Berge that night.

Cup a great leveller so it will be close, this is the game where our strikers score lol. Bring it on its a free hit for us,could you imagine if the scum got beat....🙏🙏🙏🙏

I dont like being negative - Ive always had a bit of a 'happy clapper' reputation if anything. However I think our 'patient controlled game' would get demolished by them. The would just steamroller us. We have a small chance if we are front foot and aggressive and i hope we are.
