Thing is. It’s literally the exact opposite of this. Literally the opposite

Football now is professional all round the world, it’s amazing, pro leagues in every continent, in every country, you get tiny countries producing footballers playing for champions league teams, and even nations of tiny populations qualifying for major tournaments

That’s all across the world.

Back “in the day” some of the teams these England guys scored against were just essentially amateur teams

There’s no comparison

Kane is just about the best player we have produced.

Not worth the effort but if you took the time even up until last few years at spurs he was calling him a “bottler” and overrated


In general, we have a whole forum and England have fans slagging off players for not showing “loyalty”

Kane did, spent at least 5 years too long, and gets labeled “he didn’t win out”

I have very little interest outside Sunderland, but what annoyed me as a casual observer is the other year he was top scorer in the premier league and top assist maker! In the best league in the world. And he didn’t get in the top 20 or someit in the thing Messi wins by being alive

Last year he scored 30……30!! They finished like 8th

He’d have scored more than haaland


Best England player in my life time. Don’t care what anyone says..even tho people claim that pisshead Gazza was Better

I was on about his last ever post in the thread mate, he's a right divva ever since he won worst poster of the year 2022 he's been on fire on here!
 
I remember an old mate of mine saying a few years ago when Kane first broke into the Spurs side that Danny Ings was a far better striker and that Kane was overhyped purely because he played for a London Club
That went almost as well as the start of this thread ;)
