We didn't put the hard yards in before the WC, simple as that. We thought we could just turn up without any ODI preparation or practice and put on a good show. Whoever thought it was a good idea to play our 2nd string against Ireland and give the 1st team a rest needs to explain that decision. If that is Rob Key, then he has to stop being so pally pally one of the boys, and start smashing heads together.

Nasser said it on comms afterwards, the mummer that he was attributing to the glove/underedge was always there, so didn't know what he was looking at. Got away with one there. That was stone dead.
