Starfield

Yep. Ship and decent upgrade to your gear as well. Just take your time and carefully pick off the odd high level enemy and you can do it early in the game.
The suit, jet pack and mask are class. I’m level 41 and still can’t find anything near their combined stats and bonuses

Visually it looks like a Ann Summers dentist outfit but you can’t have everything

When you unlock Piloting Level 1, you get lateral thrusters on your ship

Bethesda weirdly doesn’t tell you this, but you activate them by pressing RB on your controller or space bar on PC

This allows you to turn much faster to catch enemy ships or avoid them firing on you

Also, get the Razorleaf ship by doing the Mantis mission and upgrade it following this tutorial at 12 minutes onwards

Used that spec for the Mantis and it’s class, cheers for the heads up 👌

Finished the Freestar and Vanguard quest lines, pretty good ship and weapons from them. Think I'm gunna finish the Crimson Fleet then just finish the story, sunk a canny bit time into it so far think I just want to get it done now

Is there an easier way to sell goods? I'm quite far out at the moment in the Femi system (level 70), surely I don't have to travel all the way back to one of the common systems to trade? Is there anything closer by does anyone know?

Doing the Crimson Fleet mission and currently stuck with the UC ship. How do I get to use my Mantis ship again?
See a ship technician at one of the space ports, click the view or modify ships dialogue option. When you look through your ships you'll have the option to change your home ship back to the one you want

I done this at the New Atlantis space port and when I done the next mission I was back in the first ship. I wonder if I needed the original ship for the story or summit.

Speak with the technician fella and select ‘I’d like to view and modify my ships.’From here, use T and Q (PC) or LB and RB (Xbox) to navigate to the ship you wish to call home, and then once you’ve found your ship, press the H key (PC) or Menu button on Xbox which makes it your new home ship

I was sure I'd done this. Maybe I hit the wrong button.

Lack of map things killed it for me,
Level 21 and im stuck underground on 'echoes of past' mission - spent hours trying to get out, wont let me fast travel or get to ship
so f***ing annoying

Yeah it's poor that there's no map.

I also think navigating the star system is slow and awkward, it's like dragging a weight moving across the screen.

Overall I'm really enjoying it, but it would be so much better if there was a co-op option. Unsure how they could make it work alongside main and side quests if for example one of the players had completed it by themselves. That said, didn't Destiny offer a co-op option, could be wrong mind.
So frustrated, knacked a gang as part of a mission, the main man dropped a legendary spacesuit, I picked it up and the game crashed.

have you tried switching your scanner on, it'll give you an indication of which way to go to head to your selected quest marker - it's a godsend for me, cos I've got no sense of direction when I'm in caves/outposts

Good point. The scanner will show arrows directing you where to go.

Finished after just over 70 hours, 8/10 for me. Really enjoyed it, spent the early part of the game exploring every nook and cranny and doing loads of random side missions/outpost building/crafting etc. Got a bit tired after a while though and just focused on the main quests and the faction missions. Started the new game+ but probably won't play it all the way through again.

What's the new game +?
