If we needed to win all four comfortably then the 50 over crawl to a win wasn’t the way to go then?

Obviously it’d be better than what we’ve ended up with but the right choice was to gamble and go for it (which I think the openers did) imo.
 
The Team is completely shot to pieces. Can see the Netherlands beating them. Going to finish bottom at this rate. These players are a complete embarrassment. Stokes & Root playing across the line were completely hopeless shots. The worst of them all.

As we play Australia it wasn't imperative to win this game comfortably no.

As we could have massively change our fortunes on NRR against them.

Utterly irrelevant now though as we're out.
 
Buttler (not as captain) and Rashid are the only two I’d persist with in this 11. They look shot to bits and mentally weak as p***.

Mott can go too. His job is to to get the best out of the team and he’s failed miserably. Bloke just seems happy to be there.

I would genuinely push Buttler up to open because he cant do any worse than he is and he is still our most destructive batter

Root can stay he if says fuck off to the Hundred and plays more 50 ball cricket. Seeing as he's blamed that for our form.

I can't believe how bad he has been. He should have been able to be there in 2027.

Rashid will be to old.

But Buttler,Brook,Curran,Topley and perhaps Root from initial squad.

The rest should hang up their boots in this format.

In hindsight he should have opened. As much as I was like he's never opened before prior to the tournament.

I didn't realise how poor his record in India in ODI was here.

His experience opening in T20 here could have been more impactful opening getting us off to a start instead of then coming in under pressure.

Hindsight is great though.

I was the same mate. It's as if this tournament didn't happen and was thinking this is the same team from 4 years ago.

We should have known better to get our hopes up.

That's me officially done with this WC now. It can get fucked!
