The ref (see PGMOL thread)

Well, he was in his face and shouting whilst waving his arms. He may have already been warned. Apparently, in the Sky coverage, it was said that he had warned both teams prior to the game that he wouldn't tolerate dissent. Dan was an idiot, after a borderline red, which he got a yellow for, he is in the refs face.
He was pointing up the pitch to where Clarke had been fouled.
Ref ruined the game.
If he wasnt tolerating disset there was a hell of a lot he missed in that game.

I didn't hear it but I saw him leaning at the ref, shouting at him and waving his arms. He was lucky not to be Sent off for the foul.
You said we all saw it, I didn’t and you are insinuating Mowbray and Neil and lying.
You are sure he didn’t say “that’s not a f***ing foul” though aye?

You well know he didn't just say it, we could all see that, and did he just say tgat? Had he said more? Had he already been warned? The ref will have to put it in his report I suspect.
I don’t understand why it’s got to do with what’s been said, we play in a league with many international players, I could call you worse than imaginable but as long as it’s not in English I’m fine. Okay proximity to the referee can be considered… he was over 5 yards away…. Okay aggression can be considered… Hume acted exactly the same to the linesman in the same instance, the linesman certainly saw it? Is dissent only applicable if it’s to the man with the cards? If so why do managers get carded for berating the fourth official?

I’m sorry but no one can explain away the inconsistency regardless of how ‘mindful’ Neil should have been about being on a yellow, he’s in a competitive game where on countless first hand experiences he’s witness his behaviour as being acceptable. Why is todays instance deemed punishable?

AFTER the red.

People going about that tackle - it wasn't dangerous, its clearly an attempt to get the ball and he missed the man. You are allowed to be beaten to the ball.

Does anyone know genuinely want has went on here?. The player is a worky ticket. What's to say the ref never had quiet word before? It's hardly like that player is going to come out and hold his hands up is it?
Then should Mowbray be charged? He is claiming the lad was given a second yellow for nothing and surely bring his decision into disrepute if that isn’t the case?

The referee knows that and even what has been naively claimed he said, is dissent.

It was dangerous and high and luckily went between the players legs or it was a definite red.

Who knows what will happen. The player wants shooting with shit for putting himself in that position. Football fans would literally defend anything. I'd fine the players two weeks wages. That defeat solely lies on his shoulders imo
