Is it not fair to say top footballers should think before approaching and shouting at a ref while on a yellow card.

Neil's swearing - right or wrong - was a reaction to the fact that the ref had let Boro knock shit out of us all half with zero punishment. Had the ref's performance been consistent Neil wouldn't have been as frustrated.
He effectively got sent off because the ref was so shit.

So Dan lost his cool , said something he shouldn't of but should get away with it because of what game it was what time on the game it is. The rules should be applied no matter what game it is or what time it is. He was lucky to be on the field after the first yellow card.

It should be part of been professional players not to do that on yellow cards and certainly should not be absolved of taking responsibility.
