Should be an official complaint made by the club.

He’s directed nothing towards the ref and simply made a statement, especially after he said he would use empathy . But the bigger issue by far was greenwood. You heard the studs clatter from the stands. He gets sent off and it’s a totally different game.
 
SAFC should call for the EFL to review that match and establish if the ref acted in the spirit of football . He ruined the match for the home crowd with a real soft red card. Needed to "think twice" about flashing a red and clearly targeted Dan Neil today. I would rate his performance as 2 out of 10 . piss poor.

Should be but won't be. Club will most likely just spread it's arse cheeks as usual and wait for the next shafting.

Agree with this. That 2nd half we were so bad. So much worse than 10 v 11.
Lack of central MFs for sure but that looked we had 9 men not 10.

He had his foot off the floor, I think he won the ball but it was always going to be a foul and not surprising it was a yellow from my position but Boro got away with a few possible yellows and it’s absolutely shocking and egocentric reffing to send someone off for low level ( it seems) dissent seconds from half time.
We were not great second half but I think Mowbray got the tactics wrong- trying to sit and hit it long was never going to work, especially having taken the centre forward off. Would have been better to gamble and go all out, our squad is much better suited to that. That said he couldn’t win really, would have been criticised either way. ( unless we got a result).

The signs were there from the first half. Although I thought we were the better team they were cutting us open way too easily and way too often. We got away with it because their final ball was poor.

Neil getting send off capitulated the team further.
