ODI World Cup

It's not really, if our spinners bowl well they will find it very hard to score.
Big if like
This. All of their actual bowlers have looked dangerous. I don’t think it’s the road some are suggesting. Get to 300 and I think we are probably at par (with their long batting line up).

Just got to bat the 50 out now at a run a ball, that still sets them 280 which should at least provide some difficulty in chasing

Hopefully the new zealand batters are just as generous to our bowlers
Like I say, if this was a test match you could sit out there all day, but this is white ball and you have to score runs, that brings the wickets into play.
Ideally we need 275+ to provide the score board pressure, 300 wins imo.
We must not go out there and try to bowl as hard as possible, mix it up, make it hard to score, let the mistakes happen.

We'll have to agree to disagree mate, it's not as if the ball has ragged, bar a couple the batters have got themselves out. We'll do well to reach 300, which is about par on this deck I reckon.

Get a grip man  We will probably end up slightly below par.
So you think this has been a good performance v an attack where 20 overs are from part timers. They have gifted wickets and other than the Root & Butler partnership applied no pressure to New Zealand at all.

There attract is missing Southee and Ferguson Neesham had never bowled 10 overs for them and Phillips is barely part time level.
