I agree, it was poor, very poor. The fact Paul said he is going on the boat himself and did not want Lee on it says a lot. A poor effort was this, may need to re invent it

I know it’s not totally inkeeping with the vibe of the show but they could have brought in a great fishing expert. There are quite a few who,while not like Bob or Paul, are still entertaining. Plus we would have seen a few more fish caught.

Or, go the other way and bring in a chef to cook for Paul who could then have a running gag about how crap Bob’s food is.
 
Still can’t get over the Christmas one where he wound that 100 lb halibut in without so much as a fight 😂😂

That guide they were with definitely wore that out a couple of times for him to get it in for the cameras

I’ve heard loads of stories about fishing programmes and the team of people they have to ensure they are a success.

You should come up here and try a night staying on Camels Island. You could have drinks in the haunted Marsden Grotto them a stroll along the beach to your accommodation on Camels Island that also gets cut off by the tide.

You will need to bring your accommodation with you and it is a little bit smaller than Burgh Island!

Been to Holy Island a few times, my Mrs (no) loved it.

I can’t stand that stretch of coastline me like it pisses me off 😂😂

No doubt produces results but I much prefer ryhope and Hendon etc.
