Forthcoming gigs.

New Order next Saturday. Last time I saw them was August 1984 at Sunderland Mayfair. Any other old dodderers there that night?
I was there..I’ve posted about the ‘Blue Monday’ carry on before..some posters reckon it was nothing..they weren’t playing it then they played it..believe me it was getting a bit shouty and tense where i was standing..then they played it..anyway..Gang of Four in Newcastle tonight.

In a single file. Rather than track by track. I remember buying the tape down Durham Market a few days after the show.

I can remember it was during the summer because I only lived about 400 yards from the Mayfair at the time and I can remember walking along..not really my cup of tea but in those days you just went anyway.

Incredible weren't they? Last saw them 41 years ago at Gateshead Stadium supporting The Police. Guitarist was the equal of Andy Gill. Stunning night
I knew from the opening notes it was going to be great..the guitars were spot on..great turn out anarl..bloody warm inside like.

First time I've been there and it seemed slightly too full for comfort, but as a venue it appears to be a better designed Cluny. Would definitely go again
Totally agree..i was near the back on the right and there was hardly any room to move..there was an emergency exit there like if anything did happen..like you say..a bit too full and very Cluny like..nice to see a band like Gang of Four getting good support though..I’ll definitely go and see them again like.
