CD Castellón has reached an agreement with under-23 goalkeeper Jacob Carney to join CD Castellón.

Jacob Andrew Carney (Rotherham, April 21, 2001) is a Manchester United youth goalkeeper, who has completed the entire preseason with the Red Devils first team and who had the option of staying in their reserve team. He stands out for his great stature, 188 centimeters tall.

Carney, despite being 23 years old, has experience at Manchester United, Sunderland and in the Northern Ireland First Division. Now, the English goalkeeper arrives in Castellón to help the team achieve its goals in this exciting season.

Potentially a great move. CD Castellon are a massive club for the level they play at. Regularly get around 20,000 in and have won their first two games

Looks like James Talbot isn’t well at the moment. If I remember right this was part of the reason he went back to Ireland from something I read. Hope he’s well soon
