Boro thread

And how many years did it take you to rise to the top of League One?

In fact, you weren't ever at the top were you? Didn't you sneak up via the play-offs?

Massive club though.
Aye and then we got play offs in our first season up instead of languishing in mid table or a relegation fight like you mutants probably thought we would.
Boro can't be having their dip because to have a dip you have to have a high first
Fancy a beef dip now with all this talk of dips

Loving the theory we keep getting battered in games but get lucky and win

All because blackburn were well on top for the first 30 minutes last night
Southampton had over 70% possession too. Given we have the youngest squad in the league, most of our team are still learning and we will be inconsistent at times, there will be teams that we struggle against but I think we will always be dangerous whoever we play once we get a bit of the ball. Our team has character and determination, they have a lot of energy even when the opposition are getting tired so we can never be written off in any match.

Southampton will have the majority of possession against everybody, it's completely meaningless because they have no idea what to do with it.

If you read their forum the posters that have a clue know this wasn't the case. Lots of fair comments, they weren't good enough, I think we all agree.

IF and it's a big IF, both clubs continue in the way they are at the minute we could be looking at a cricket score in a couple of weeks. Carrick could fall into a barrel of tits and the minute and come out sucking his thumb. Uncle Neil will be in charge before the year is out.

Could you show us the possession league table as it stands please?

I’m assuming at the end of the season the team at the top gets promoted. 🤔

"On paper how many of their players get in our team? Clarke for sure. Other than him there’s not many you’d confidently say would".

Deluded, or what?
Obviously not been watching us play. We look a different class side to them all over the pitch.

Hackney not over Neil? He was in contention for young player of the season last season

I really like Hackney, watched him alot (mainly for boros 21) as they play at Bishop and im from Bishop, but if you look at how we play Neil is perfect for us and has 150+ games under his belt already and we need that experience

I also think Neil is further ahead than Hackney but both have similar potential (that being in a top 10/8 PL team)
