Tbf they’ve achieved something Sunderland could only do on fifa but as a traditional club in terms of size you are in fairness bigger than them, pretty comfortably your all time crowds indicate your a bigger club albeit you should probably have similiar support considering your catchments are similiar

How are West Ham in a tier above us? They’ve never won a first division title or ever finished runners up. As for the mags, before the Saudi takeover we were about equal.

I wouldn't even put Newcastle in with those. I'll begrudgingly admit Newcastle are a bigger club than Sunderland, but they aren't much bigger, all things considered. Spurs, Villa and Everton are all much bigger clubs than both Newcastle and Sunderland.
