Are Forest a big club

Just been listening to talk sport tonight and they are being termed as football “giants”.

I know about the 2 European cups obviously but did abit of digging on wiki, won less than I thought historically.

Thoughts ?
They won the European Cup twice, trumps everything we have ever done. Big club? I always term big club with its support. Shame he didnt manage us and would not be a question.

Man Utd Liverpool

Arsenal City Chelsea

Villa Everton Mags Us Spurs

Leeds Forest West Ham

Sheff Wed West Brom Wolves Blackburn Leicester Ipswich Burnley

Top 20 in the country imo

They’re about the same size as Boro with a slightly more glamorous history.

Their highest ever average attendance is only around 30k. They have spent more time out of the top division and apart from the period in the late seventies and early eighties they have won very little in their history.

Slightly ? :) Two Euro cups

A proper traditional regional club.

Without the Clough years they would be considerably less than they are. We’ve played for over 30 more years in the top fight than them.

there a bigger club than us. Teesside population is about 500k not including darlo and Hartlepool decent catchment but smaller than what they have. Our historical crowds factually are bigger there all time support is below us wolves Norwich Ipswich and on par with Coventry not the huge club by any means. There on par with derby and smaller than the likes of Newcastle Everton spurs West Ham Sunderland and I’d even say sheff wed as a traditional football club are bigger
