I can still take an interest.
I don't drink hot drinks and can't stand the smell of coffee. So a coffee shop wouldn't really be my thing.

I haven't yet tried Coffee 57 on HSW, but I'll definitely pop in one Saturday.
(Un)interesting point, I covered that yellowish chair in your picture, in 1983 or 4, did loads in bright yellow & bright orange, they were for Mill View Club. Wonder how many places they've been in.

Not technically a coffee shop but Good Apple does good coffee and fantastic dinner time soup/wraps etc.. can't get food like that anywhere else in Sunderland

Mentioned to the bairn there's plenty of coffee shops about now. Came out the Bunker and passed Otto's, Patticake Pattiserie and Grinder just on the way home.
Always feel like I'm missing out not drinking coffee but it knocks me sick. Used to like the Quilliam Brother's tea place in Newcastle though.

Quilliam bros did great coffee as well. Was always busy I’m amazed it closed.
