CC : Durham vs Sussex

Tea:

Durham 270-5 (67 overs) lead by 4 runs.

Clark 20*, De Leede 1*

Elsewhere, Leicestershire lead by 45 on first innings at home to Gloucestershire but take only 3 bonus points from their bowling effort. Gloucestershire now lead by 42 runs with 7 wickets remaining in what could be a low scoring epic.

Glamorgan were skittled for 170 at Worcestershire for a first innings deficit of 114. The hosts have extended that lead to 133 with 9 wickets remaining. 4-3 to Worcester in the bonus point battle.

Ultimately, it appears that we’re going to outscore all the chasing pack in the bonus point column this week.

Worcestershire and us winning from here and Leicestershire not winning would confirm our promotion. In that scenario we would need only 6* more points to clinch the title.

*based on us getting 300-349 runs in the first innings. If we get 450 inside 110 overs we’d need only 3 more points to clinch.

I thought it was a shocker at first glance, but it pitches on leg (possibly even clipping middle) and straightened. I hate to say it, but I think it’s a brilliant decision
I noticed him out LBW on cricinfo and came on here expecting you to be fuming

Reminds me a bit of Lyon v Root at Edgbaston but thought it was higher and more leg you would of sent up bet it was umpires call

Happy with the situation at the moment, if we can get a few more batting points we also hopefully bat Sussex out of the game, so guarantee at least a draw which is no use at all to them.

I'm sure it's happened before, but from memory that's the first time i've seen an over go

0,1,2,3,4 albeit spoilt by us not getting 5 from the last ball of the over.

Scores of 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 this over, what price 5 on the last ball?

Ah well, a 0.

What’s the current situation with getting dogs* into the ground? Just been told I’m dog-sitting tomorrow :o

*on a lead, not in a pram.

It used to be £10 for the season I am reliably told. However at the Gloucs game there was a couple and 2 kids (all non members) who had to pay a tenner for their dog for a single day.
