Idiotic decision. Good professional on and off the pitch. Just don’t understand the logic in relation to the strength of the current squad. Did superbly for us and then bombed out without a thought and Mowbray just presided over it without a whimper. He’ll be a loss.

Realistically likely a bit of everything. Big wages comparably, year left, coach prefers others . Not the ideal combo.

Mowbray has us wide open this season and it's brave football and its risky football. Plenty of time you have ballard and o'nien left up against strikers and its crucial they either win the first ball or they have the pace and mobility to be able to mop up second balls or get back.

People overlook the change in system when we have the ball and how exposed the centre backs become.

Oh is that the latest bullshit - he wanted to be closer to his family. Last week it was because he wanted a longer deal until that was blown out by him signing a one year contract at Norwich.

We still look highly vulnerable without him at crosses and corners too, great organisation skills too, whichever style we play I'd have kept him tbh.

I still don’t believe he’s been forced out. There was a very real possibility he could have stayed but by the end of this season I think we can all agree we’d have wanted to be at a point where he wasn’t starting.

The club have done right by him and said if he can find a club go for it given in 3/4 weeks he was likely to be 5th choice
