I find it criminal that SAFC can no longer stave of interest from clubs in the 2nd tier for our best players, whilst playing at the same level. It’s a kick in the knackers and a reality check for anybody hoping to see the club challenging to get back to the premier league any time soon. Good luck to him and I’m sure he’ll be earning the money his ability and attitude deserves.

Well said. He’s a very very good player. One of the best we’ve had for a long time. Yes there’s a question over his fitness but I cannot believe we haven’t been able to keep him here.

8m plus 2m. I'm aware you're putting a negative slant on it and calculating all the various sell on fees as if every transfer fee lands straight in the selling club's bank without any of it going anywhere else but that isn't how it works.

We've earned a hefty profit on a player who doesn't even play for us because he's always injured.
