Tbf he laid out his demands and the club weren’t willing to meet them so who’s to blame him

He’s been playing for a repeat I’ve pittance for years in footballers terms.

£8m + add ons is ok and we are selling club anyway - remember our new model... but Tom Cannon as a replacement well if he can't get in the Everton team u wonder how good he is but obvs it would be acceptable if he is a 1 in 2 man like he was at Preston pretty much.
 
Been an incredible signing and player for us. Shame this is how it ends, but got to just some how solve the gap it leaves
