A firing Ross Stewart, if he keeps fit, in our current team, could be the difference between promotion or not tbh

He's already been offered and rejected £20k per week. Widely reported.Absolute joke if we don’t offer him £20k a week. Absolute pittance for a striker of his calibre and if that’s all he wants and we sell for £8m then this club has gone to the pits and there is no ambition whatsoever left here.
Would be right up there with the worst decisions the clubs ever made to lose a potential £40m player for that
Says the fact Mowbrays cited 3 players are on the wage limit and it isn’t hard to find 3 players all on the same salary cap.Says who? Show me proof then if it's many sources.
Not correct at allHe's already been offered and rejected £20k per week. Widely reported.
Show me where you find what these 3 players are earning... what our salary cap is.Says the fact Mowbrays cited 3 players are on the wage limit and it isn’t hard to find 3 players all on the same salary cap.
Again - what proof would you like?

Ross Stewart would need to get us 2 additional league places to pay for his annual salary from the prize money alone. Even if he plays 10 games he probably gets us 4-5 points, which would get us several places without a doubtA firing Ross Stewart, if he keeps fit, in our current team, could be the difference between promotion or not tbh
That’s incredible amounts of money at this level like. How can we compete with that
Could buy 12 Ndongs for that
You are completely unable to answer a simple question - what level of proof is required?Show me where you find what these 3 players are earning... what our salary cap is.
Also show me how you know Stewart is only asking for 20k
If asked 3 times now and you're stalling.
You can cry all you want about it being a poor decision, but to mention ambition is false.Absolute joke if we don’t offer him £20k a week. Apart from selling Lihadji for a reasonable packet you mean?Leicester brought in £105m so far, Watford £48m, Coventry £35m, Leeds £30m (with another canny amount to come), Bristol £20m, Swansea £16m etc.
SAFC are one of only 7 Championship clubs (and 3 of those are the recently promoted L1 sides) yet to bring in any money this summer, yet we are the 11th highest spenders so far.
But you have maniacs on here who think we should be competing financially with the likes of Southampton simply because we are in the same division.
Mind-boggling.
He had to go for Stewart because Jerry Yates has gone elsewhere. Why does Russell Martin ( enjoy the way his teams play, potentially going to be a top Manager) want to sign Ross Stewart…. Do you think he sees him as probably the best CF in the Championship, which he is. He obviously is prepared to accept the lad had been injured, it happens and is trying to get him on the cheap. Ffs give Stewart a new contract now, he will score goals for us, will improve our chances of a top six finish massively and next summer with him under contract you would be talking what at least double what the offer is at the minute.
We can't afford to pay players 20k a week.Absolute joke if we don’t offer him £20k a week. Absolute pittance for a striker of his calibre and if that’s all he wants and we sell for £8m then this club has gone to the pits and there is no ambition whatsoever left here.

And that’s before you factor in actual football benefits to having him around

Proof of how you know its a fact. Anything you deem does that. You are completely unable to answer a simple question - what level of proof is required?
Losing a £40m player over a 250k a year salary increase is the very definition of unambitiousYou can cry all you want about it being a poor decision, but to mention ambition is false.
Yep, and been £100m better offWe'd be playing in the Premier League this season if he'd stayed fit last year imo
Exactly this. He’s easily worth the £25m Gyokeres went for (who was also in the last year of his contract). Very narrow minded for the club to lose the undoubted best striker in the league like this
