Russell Martin has Ross Stewart as his main target **Transfer confirmed **

The bloke who “looks in to things” at the club told my mate that Stewart won’t be signing a new contract, that was at a networking conference thing at the Sol a few weeks ago
If I’m thinking of the right guy he also said our fantastic kit suppliers would take over the club shop then a week later said they wouldn’t, so even though he should be, he maybe isnt the best at foreseeing club matters!

(for what it’s worth I can’t see him signing either)

No point flogging him then. May as well keep him and run his contract out.

Donald and Salmon Pants would have taken whatever they could get for him, but at 4-5 mil, better for KS and KLD to sit on their hands here.

Maybe if he comes back and starts banging them in again, we can get the value back up and get a nice envelope for him.

Nowt like being dramatic.

Nothing dramatic about it.

He’s as good a striker as there is in this league. No fee required to keep him, just a willingness to pay him what he’s worth.

If another championship club gives him what we won’t, and we’re plunged further in to this pit of negligence concerning our forward options, it’ll be - as I said - an absolute f***ing disgrace.

While I can understand why the money men would sell for £5m ish now.. it isn't going to be a good look and can't really blame anybody who moans about it.

Really does seem like we are at a crossroads in terms of how quick we need to build the squad.

Yeah looks like Seaham Red Star are going to pip us to his signature. Has to sign with his left foot as both his arms are dislocated.

Can’t expect to compete with Seaham Red Star for signings to be fair. We need to get real.

It’s a crazy market and we should just be glad that poor little Sunderland aren’t getting involved.
