The Hundred 2023

Hell on that the women's game got abandoned so the men can play
It’s shite like, but it is what it is. The women’s game has benefitted overall from the joint fixtures, I’ve watched quite a few because of how it is.

Bit off for a semi-final though. They should probably have a contingency plan next year though.

Maybe start earlier?
I think the problem is too big of a game between men and women’s games, it’s generally worked that it’s been easy to attend both.

Tough one, I’d say for a semi-final it should be separate days, but then any day could be a washout, that’s English cricket.

I think a lot of this depends on Salt, he can be so destructive when he’s in form. Laurie Evans had it in his as well but not been in great touch.

15 from 5 to start

I’m not a big fan of this comp or high scoring games but this has been a great watch.

Shame the semi final has to be on a neutral ground but seems unavoidable at such short notice.

Maybe start earlier?

Good idea, why not? Get the Hundred run from June - August - say over 100 days. That would leave room for the T20 in May and a couple of test matches in September. The 50 over cup could remain as it is now and the County Championship could be run as a single wicket bowl-off in the Cricket Centre at South North.
