Hartlepool United

Cracking result with 10 men as well.
Hope they come back up.
I went for a pre & post match slurp with my Poolie mates, though I wasn't at the game, and they didn't have your powers of persuasion to persuade me to go to the match. 😉
Before the match, I was singing the praises of Dieseruvwe and Mancini, so it was pleasing that he (Dieseruvwe) scored the two goals for Pools. 🔵⚪🔵

Cruzcampo on draught in Wetherspoon's before the match, and some belting 1970's & early '80's punk/new wave tunes, played in the Hart of Our Club (1908 bar) after the match 👍

A canny slurp, and lots of pre & post match, footy bollix was chatted.

You would've loved it, mate. 🍻

Their big gangly attacker, Emmanuel Dieseruvwe, (No 20) who I was very impressed with, when he played against us in a recent pre season game, scored both goals against Gateshead, yesterday.
With him up front, causing all sorts of problems for opposition defences, and Anthony Mancini, (No 8) creating & pulling the strings in midfield, Pools will hopefully do well this season.
No. 20 would bully the pairing we put out yesterday. I was impressed at Pools.

Spot on. 👍

I was also hugely impressed with him, at our pre season game at Pools.
A big 6' + lad, he never stopped running and wanting the ball against us.
Good in the air and on the deck.
He held it up & laid the ball off really well, and caused us all sorts of problems at Pools.

He'll do really well for Pools this season.

The lad Seaman was class for pools yesterday. Dug in and showed desire but gateshead were pretty toothless despite the majority of possession.
My mates agreed, Pools seemed to purposely sit back and let Gateshead have possession for too much of the game, (even when Pools had 11 men on the pitch) and were looking to hit Gateshead on the break.
The tactic worked against Gateshead, but better teams will certainly look to take advantage of being afforded so much possession by Pools.

The Third Hartlepools goal was so Magnificent that the corrupting media outlets refused to believe a Hartlepool Player could do that thus left the score at 2-2 until reality set in......

Well done to the 170 Poolies who made the trip....👏

Ha'way the Lads and Up The Pools!!!!
